Muskingum River Woodland Interest Group
Serving East-Central Ohio & the Muskingum River Watershed
ABOUT
Since 1995, the primary operational purpose of MRWIG has been to develop, coordinate, support and provide charitable, educational, scientific and mutual assistance services and activities for people interested in woodlands. This has primarily come in the form of casual educational meetings geared toward small private woodland owners. Membership in MRWIG has provided countless individuals with the tools and information necessary to properly manage their woodland holdings.
MRWIG meets every other month starting in January. Meetings typically begin around 6:00 p.m. Sometimes our meetings are held on weekends when more time is needed for travel or to discuss a topic.
Meetings are casual and usually involve a trip to the field so that members can gain direct hands on experience from the experts.
